Patricia graduated from Farmingdale State College where she was awarded the Dr. Kendall P Thomas award from the Dental Hygiene program faculty. Patricia has had many roles in dentistry starting out as a dental assistant while still in high school. She also worked as an office manager before going back to school to earn her Associates degree in Dental Hygiene. With over 30 years experience in dentistry Patricia is very knowledgeable in all aspects of dental treatment.
Patricia knows that a healthy mouth is vital to a patient’s general health and enjoys helping patients to achieve their optimum dental heath through both treatment and homecare instructions.
Patricia has attended many continuing education courses to keep herself up to date on the many advances in dentistry including infectious control, laser therapy, treating patients with cardiovascular disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, caries prevention and many more.
Patricia lives locally and is happily married with 2 teenage children. When not providing quality dental care she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading and crocheting. She is also very involved with her son’s Boy Scout troop, her daughters Girl Scout troop and her local church.
Vannita is our chief dental assistant and an expert in her field. She has been a member of Dr. Kaufman’s team for almost 10 years. Vannita is noted for her compassion and kindness toward our patients, and always makes them feel relaxed. Vannita, with her infectious smile, enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.
Cruz has been in the dental field for over 30 years. She is a highly trained registered dental assistant. Cruz is really passionate about patient care as well as enjoying all elements of aesthetic dentistry. Cruz has two daughters and enjoys dancing, cooking and walks in the park
